Best holiday ever! “Yay we won big Wednesday. Remember all those things you wanted to do with all the money ,cars ,boats and the other stuff, now we can do it” I exclaimed excitedly. “We will go to Denmark okay?” my Dad replied. At 7:00am we were on Singapore airlines to Denmark. As soon as we got off the plane we got asked to be in a movie by the most famous celebrity Jack Black called the ‘Sound of Music’ We all loved our characters and everything starts now…..
The father of his 7 children is always so strict, but not when a lady called Maria comes along. She is amazed at how everything is in the house. First night father is out for the night. “Maria” said Gretel “Where is father going?” I’m not sure but one thing I do know is that it is past your bedtime!
Father arrived at home at 7:00 in the morning. “But where is the lady you went to get”? Well I actually went to get you this ring! Maria will you marry me?
“Cut!” calls the director. Acting as the father in the sound of music was a very good experience for me and my family. I would really like to do it again, and that was my best holiday ever!! The End By Jack
Trip to Pak ‘n save
One hot sunny day on Friday the 15th March room 6 and teacher helpers went to Pak ‘n save. We went so we could read some food labels and we all know the super market is the only place to read so many food labels.
Once we got there we listened to Naomi and she put us into groups with a teacher. We were all so determined to get in to Pak ‘n save and read labels. We started at the snacks category. There were so many yummy snacks that you can eat but I really liked the look of milo bars but they had 15g got sugar in them 5g too much! Secondly we went to the milk/calcium category for my unhealthy I chose vanilla yoghurt drink that had 16.7g of sugar that is 6.7g over the limit. For my healthy option I chose trim milk that had 8.1g of sugar.
At the end we got $60 for Naomi to spend at Pak ‘n save. I was really tired but I got through it and I had a very good time!
The Rare Fish Island
It was an early morning as Jo and Wendy neared the island as they were tiered “done for the night, and it was a very good book actually” Said Jeff “So one day are we going to Rare Fish Island? Asked John “No way” Ring, ring, Jeff rushed to the phone and was extremely thrilled to pick up the phone who could it be he thought? “Hello yes I am Jeff and I do work at the London Fish Factory” Jeff sighed at john saying you know all I said about we would not ever go to The Rare Fish Island we are going right now we have to be at the dock at 7:45 and it is 7:31 right now so get ready.
So off the went in a hurry they looked at the time it was 7:35am we have 10 minutes to get there so go drive like a man said John. All the boats to choose from there were so many but after a while we choose a green, blue, and red boat. “Wow all these controls make me confused” said John “Well I know all about this turn the key pull the choke turn all the technical controls and bobs your uncle were off.
After a long trip they reached the island and were very tired. They were spiteful but they needed a good night sleep so they set the tent up and before they went to bed they had a quick walk around to see what they could find. Nothing caught there attention so they went To bed and had a good night sleep.” Hello John are you awake?” Jeff said quietly.”Ahhh” screamed Jeff. John awoke feeling spiteful to find the fish but it will be tough he thought. “I, I found the fish I found half a dozen fish so we can take them back to the London fish factory.” Stuttered Jeff “Could you go and get a plastic bag from the tent please?” asked Jeff. John came back with a bag so Jeff could contain the fish to take back.
So off they went in the boat on the way home but after a while they both heard a sound rang rang and the boat just stopped. Petrol they both thought ok so all we have on this boat is life jacket scuba gear. “I know we could use the scuba gear dive down to the ground and see if we can get some petrol?” thought Jeff. ”Okay that is what we can do only if it works.” They were both a bit frantic but they both pulled their heads together and of the boat they fell back of the boat. It was a bit murky down there but after about 30minutes in water the found some petrol. So they got a bucket and put some petrol in it and they swam up to the surface and put it in there petrol cap. With all their luck it worked and it was enough petrol to get them home. The celebrated with a nice cold beer but at the same time they were thinking about getting the fish home.
So when they got back they almost forgot to take the fish back to the London fish factory. “So where are my 4 rare fish?” asked Sid the boss of Jeff. “Well it was a long and rough time so we figured that we should make you happy, because we got you not only 4 rare fish but half a dozen rare fish”, said Jeff .
“You and your friend can work here for the rest of your life, I mean only if you want to? Jeff’s eyes opened up wide with joy replying “We would both be delighted to work here”.
